Roadmap

The website frames the journey in phases: reveal → alpha skins → token launch → trustless marketplace → staking activation. Below is that arc expanded with where each piece stands.

Phase 1 — Reveal

The game, the lore, the "MOBA for monsters" identity. Landing page live at ꙮꙮ.com; play at playmonsterion.com. Game prototype playable in-browser (desktop + mobile builds on Cloudflare Pages).

Status: ✅ live / ongoing.

Phase 2 — Alpha Token & OG Skins ($gIONS)

The $gIONS alpha token is live on Solana via pump.fun — mint e3Rw27Am9Bd2eXZLHKdfeCanMsjJ3gt8iMAhLV4pump (chart · Solscan). Its utility is burn-to-unlock the first OG exclusive on-chain skins, via the official burn address monsterionionsionsionsions7dbJ9UPtkkHnGeSkY. Skins are limited editions (100 of each), Classic and Hyper-Mutation variants.

Status: ✅ $gIONS live — OG burn-to-unlock skin redemption rolling out.

Phase 3 — Main Token ($IONS)

Launch $IONS (1B supply, no pre-mint, 100% burned liquidity) as the main utility token: buying skins, marketplace buybacks, PYUSD/JupSOL staking, and a funnel for game-sales revenue from Steam / App Store / Google Play back into the economy.

Status: ⏳ not launched — design only; no $IONS contract, claim, or presale yet.

Phase 4 — Trustless Marketplace

The secondary skin marketplace: USDC-based resale, 9.6% fee (4.8% buyback & burn, 4.8% treasury), settled by the ions_market Anchor escrow program with a non-custodial keeper.

Status: 🛠️ designed — UI shell first, then the ions_market program + keeper, validated and deployed. Legal review flagged before go-live.

Phase 5 — Staking Activation

Turn on the PYUSD/JupSOL flywheel staking: badge tiers, lock multipliers, weight-based rewards, and the fee-share launch type. Programs are built, deployed to devnet, and tested.

Status: 🛰️ devnet — fee-split / reward / badge / lock logic fully implemented and tested; external CPIs (Meteora, Kamino, Jupiter) remain TODO before mainnet.


Cross-cutting tracks

  • HD presentation mode — opt-in screen-grade shader + higher-fidelity map/towers/VFX (cosmetic only). Foundation shipped; phased asset roadmap ongoing.
  • 3D heroes & minions — baked-sprite pipeline for minions; live-3D VFX skills for heroes.
  • Launchpad for others — open the same trustless launch flow to third-party creators (Basic / Flywheel / Pro / Custom packages).
